Kick off Black History Month with a captivating journey through the heart of Manhattan as we explore the rich and often untold history of Black America. This guided tour takes you through significant sites in New York City, from the historic grounds of Seneca Village to the vibrant streets of Harlem, and the powerful legacy of Wall Street.
Tour Highlights:

Seneca Village: Discover the once-thriving African American community that existed before Central Park was created. Learn about the lives of its residents and their fight to preserve their homes and way of life.

Wall Street: Unearth the history of Black financial influence, from the early days of enslaved people’s labor building New York’s economy to the pivotal role Black Wall Street figures played in the financial district.

Harlem Renaissance: Explore the Harlem neighborhood that birthed an intellectual and cultural movement in the 1920s. Visit sites connected to the great figures of art, music, literature, and activism like Langston Hughes, Zora Neale Hurston, and Billie Holiday.
