An Evening with Jelani Cobb, Dean of Columbia Journalism School
AN HCNY Event
Join us for an evening with Dean Jelani Cobb, one of the most incisive chroniclers of American democracy. His powerful new collection, Three or More Is a Riot: Notes on How We Got Here 2012–2025, traces twelve years of reporting on conflict, culture, and change. In conversation, Cobb will explore the forces that shaped our turbulent era—revealing how key events, from political upheaval to social movements, brought us to this moment. Cobb is the Dean of Columbia Journalism School and a longtime staff writer at The New Yorker.
The Harvard Club of NY invites Harvard Black Alumni Society members to participate in this unique event as part of our Black History Month collaboration.
