It is with sincere regret that I must inform you of my decision to postpone this year’s holiday party which was scheduled for this upcoming Saturday, December 18th -- I wouldn’t want to risk ruining anyone’s upcoming holiday plans. We will meet in the New Year!
The Governor’s reinstatement yesterday of a temporary mask mandate that requires New Yorkers to wear a mask in all indoor public spaces (unless businesses implement a vaccine requirement) has impinged on my ability to host this traditional event.
I’m very much looking forward to meeting everyone in-person and introducing myself as your new chapter President, a responsibility I recently assumed. We will reconvene in 2022.
