Mindfulness & Self Care Workshop

Wednesday, May 11

5pm ET/4pm CT/2pm PT

“Caring for myself is not self-indulgence, it is self-preservation," said Audre Lorde. Now, more than ever, it is important that we take care of ourselves so that we can have the strength to move forward, regardless of what comes our way. Join HBAS and Harvard Business School alum Zee Clarke for a workshop on mindfulness and self care.  In this workshop, we will learn self-care tools including mindfulness practices, breathwork, optimizing our morning/evening routines and more, so that we might find balance and grounding in an ever changing world.   Please note this event will not be recorded.

Zee Clarke has spent over 20 years leading teams at Fortune 500 companies and tech startups in Silicon Valley. After experiencing a number of challenges in the workplace from microaggressions from colleagues, to disparate treatment around salary and promotions,  she pursued extensive mindfulness training in India to help her manage these challenges.  Founder of Reclaiming Flow, she leverages her toolkit of meditation, breathwork, yoga, and much more, to teach others how mindfulness can improve their well being at work despite any challenges that race, gender, or sexuality might present.  With Reclaiming Flow workshops on topics like Mindfulness to Heal from Microaggressions at Work, Countering Imposter Syndrome with Courage, and Rejuvenation from Black Fatigue, employee resource groups and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion teams at companies like Google, Facebook, and Visa are driving employee retention and well-being for their teams.  She is a Harvard Business School graduate who applies holistic healing practices to corporate environments.
