Join the Harvard Black Alumni Society of New York for a Drink 'N Draft Creative Writing Workshop designed to help get the creative juices flowing and give opportunity to share your work. In celebration of Black History Month, HBAS is offering limited tickets with a 20% discount to encourage community members to attend.
The Book Club Bar Drink 'N Draft writing night is designed to get you out of your head and onto the page. Each night includes a series of visual prompts that will lead you toward new creative choices in your work. This laptop-free/handwriting exercise means less editing, less judgment, less distraction, and more writing and discovery.
You're invited to write something new, continue a work-in-progress, or see where the evening takes you. We'll finish the night with time to share what you've written. All genres are welcome, no matter your writing experience.
